Some of the cutting edge technologies that Dr. Ephrat uses to manage nasal polyps and chronic sinusitis include 3D image guidance sinus surgery, PolypVac / suction powered debriders, PROPEL family of self-dissolving implants, SINUVA implant and topical steroid treatments to avoid the unwanted effects of systemic steroids.

Dr. Ephrat is also in the forefront of clinical research and recently published results of a research trial used in the FDA approval of a novel new treatment for nasal valve collapse and nasal obstruction - The VivAer procedure is minimally invasive and requires 15 minutes in the office (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/lio2.247)  He will also be a principal investigator in a research trial for a medical treatment used for nasal polyps.
